Thanks!!!
Thanks so much for the amazing day of climbing. From beginning to
end, everything was awesome! My husband, 3 sons and I all had a blast
and cant wait to come back again. Dave was fabulous -- a great guy
and guide -- and we knew we were in good hands with him at the helm.
You were also wonderful to keep us in the loop with the potential
Preserve closing due to the fire (thank goodness it was all okay!).
Again, thanks for a truly memorable day.

...I want you to know, Jon, what a memorable day that was for me. From your wonderful stories of Hans to your teachings about shoe fit,
rope care, placing protection and rappeling -- not to mention the climbing itself -- to your obvious love of the natural beauty around you.
You've got a lovely "office" and I admire how you've created a way of living that suits your spirit. I said it in May that we'd be back and
I say it again now.

I just wanted to write a note to say thank you for a most beautiful rock climbing day!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and want to "dance" some more with the rocks in the future.
I've been thinking a lot this week about how rock climbing is such a metaphor to so many aspects
of our lives. Thank you again for introducing me to this wonderful activity.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for an excellent time on our climb back in August. You did an excellent job dealing with our group that had members of varying degrees of skill. All of us were challenged but never pushed too far and every member of my group had a great time.
Thank you for your skill and patience. We all look forward to seeing you again soon.

Just wanted to thank you and Bob for two days of rope, anchor and climbing instruction. I learned a great deal with Bob. He was thorough, comprehensive, and very positive in his instruction. I gained the knowledge I needed to feel more confident setting up climbs.
Thanks once again.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say how much I enjoyed the past two days I spent with you. Although I didn't fulfill my objective of previewing Madame G's and Shockley's Ceiling, I did some great climbing -- Roseland, Birdland, Transcontinental Nailway (my first 5.10 in the 'Gunks!), Birdie Party and Higher Stannard, as well as Limelight and Middle Earth. The confidence in my climbing that I developed on the harder climbs will undoubtedly help me be more comfortable on unfamiliar leads at moderate grades.
Bob was a great guide; he has what I consider the perfect attitude towards climbing -- that if you aren't having fun you shouldn't do it. Of course, his attention to safety and my particular concerns was gratifying. Please tell him how much I enjoyed the experience.

Bobby,
Just to tell you, again, what a FINE day you provided as our Gunks
guide. Susan and I may not have the same abilities, but we certainly
had the same experience: exhilarating climbs, unparalleled views,
excellent company, and the assurance we were in good hands. I will
absolutely be arranging another outing with you, or with CJ; addict
that I am, only time and money stand in my way.
Many thanks.

Thanks again for the initial opportunity to climb the Trapps. In hindsight, I loved it! I have a real appreciation for your craft -- both your own abilities and talents, and your enthusiastic ability to convey the necessary info to breed success. We'll be in touch!

Thank you so much for last Sunday. It really was one of the greatest days of my life.
The feeling of climbing a wall 50 feet high with nothing but your hands, feet and a rope is definitely one of the most exhilirating feats. I wish everyone could have such an experience. It could give the world a lot more self confidence and a little less insecurity. If only everyone could "carpe diem".
Jay and I could not have asked for a better guide. You made us both feel confident in the great risk that we felt like we were taking. I commend you on your teaching ability and inspiration. Keep up the good work!

As I return to "normal" life on the ground this morning, I am just beginning to realize the magnitude of what I personally accomplished on Friday.
I was impressed with your expertise dealing with not only rock climbing, but your ability to assuage my fears.
Somehow, I am a different person and feel like Cinderella with black and blues instead of glass slippers.
We will be contacting you soon for another lesson. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Well, it's two days later and the adrenalin is still pumping! I was worried about the long drive hom tuesday night, but I was so psyched I couldn't even fall asleep in bed that night. I would have been really excited just doing a 5.9, but a 5.10 was a thrill I'll never forget!
I want to thank you again for the expert instruction and inspiring motivation. The day was everything I hoped for and more. You are truly an outstanding person and I am very fortunate to have met you.

Jon, It was a great experience. Cody was perhaps the best guide I have ever had. He was personable, safety conscious, but pushed me. I will be back.
Carl Gabbard

Just got back from my trip with Cody. He is awesome both as a guide and as company. I had the time of my life!
Andrea

Jon, Thank you and Mike for an awesome experience! The children had a wonderful time, learned a lot about all parts of cliff climbing. Mike was very patient, quick to notice and respond to the different personalities of the children. He was excellent in letting us be a part of the team (even though we didn't climb) and also knew just how to let us know when to let him handle the situation. We are very pleased with the entire experience for ourselves and especially for Kelly and Chris. We will recommend you to anyone we can and know where to come when we are ready for anther climbing experience.

Thanks for setting up my "birthday" climb this week. The service that Bart Paull provided as guide was outstanding. The climbs he led me on were nothing for his skill level and background, yet he approached each one with enthusiasm, patience, and precise instruction. He filled gaps in my knowledge and enabled me to break through my previous limits to new levels of exposure and technique. I've wanted to climb the "Gunks" for several years, but never really thoughtÊI would do it. Thanks to Bart and your school, I not only have, but am eager to return! The day held a lot of symbolism for me in ways other than the physical climbing. I've been dealing with a lot in my life recently; struggling with my fears and hopes during the outing strengthened my faith and commitment to the "real-world" challenges I need to meet. Thanks again!
